According to the listing, the sale includes all inventory, supplies and equipment, and dealership rights for Arctic Cat snomobiles, Suzuki ATVs, motorcycles and scooters, and of course, Vespa and Piaggio scooters. No specific prices are mentioned on the "turn-key" sale, apart from an estimated value of the parts and inventory.

Earlier this year, the former sales manager there reported the dealership was moving to new, larger quarters further east along Sprague. We're not sure why Travis is trying to sell now, but the listing specifically indicates the buyer will be responsible for completing an existing 17-month lease, and that the dealership rights cover Spokane Valley. Make us wonder if Camp is leaving the biz, or is simply moving outside the immediate area.

The shop's Vespa sales always seemed healthy, at least from the standpoint of stock turnover. The listing claims overall sales of $3.2 million in 2005 and "slightly more" than that 2006. This despite fairly lackluster marketing and a growing reputation for so-so after-sales service on their scooter brands. Local riders (and our club) always appreciated having a local showroom to visit and support, but were consistently left hoping for more in terms of service. Much to Travis' credit, the shop helped support both local rallies this year and sponsored what was hoped would become a regular breakfast ride for scooterists, originating at the shop.
