Members that remember a couple of regulars that we haven't seen recently may wonder: "whatever became of Marc and Jonny?"

Hey, let's not treat this like an epitaph for the guys, but fact is, they're going to be pretty scarce for awhile, for very different reasons. Here's the scoop in case you didn't get the memo:

As of this date, Marc has new temporary digs in Seattle, awaiting the sale of his home here and the arrival of wife Kindra and his daughter Sheera. (Gonzo, the couple's dog, is with Marc for the time being). We congratulate Marc on landing what sounds like a very cool job with Amazon.com, and frankly we're a little jealous of any job with a view overlooking Elliot Bay! Until they settle into a new home in the land of sky-blue waters, Marc will commute back to Spokane on weekends, and word is, he may be available for some weekend rides before long. Of course (and we remind him of this at every opportunity) this means we've got new friends in Seattle for events like Scooter Insanity , Monkey Run and Festering Octoberscoot. Like to get in touch? Jonny is a different story. Happily, he and Robyn are still here in town, but unhappily, a few basic priorities forced the sale of Jonny's Sprint Veloce', leaving "Jonny the Mod" scooterless. If you'd like to offer our favorite guy a ride now and again, or offer him a sweet deal on a Lambretta (he dreams of an Li Series II), let us know and we'll forward word along.
