Delegates en route

The two took off a few days in advance of the event, mentioning something about taking the scenic route along the coast, including a day or two in Portland. We received a few photos from them in advance - mostly with Vespa of Portland's huge stock of Vespas and Stellas in the background. Things must've picked up after that, because we didn't hear much from either of the two until the last day of the rally.

Since then, the thousands (literally) of photos Paul took have been whittled down to 300 or so images, and cover everything from the trip down, to a quick tour of San Francisco, to the Amerivespa event itself. Several bikes were raffled off, but none found their way into either Paul or Jonna's hands this time. But almost as nice, Jonna won second prize in the "Best Modern Smallframe" category for her Hello Kitty-decorated LX!

Thanks to both for making the trip and for representing the club. Looks like a great time, and as we'd hoped, the photos make us wish we'd been there. Next year? Doubtful, but tempting...it's in San Antonio, Texas!
